Charlton Heston Stamp
Late "Colbys" patriarch Charlon Heston should be honoured with a postage stamp - believes his former publicist who started a petition campaign yesterday, on what would have been his 87th birthday.
Heston, who passed away in 2008, was of course the iconic actor who appeared in epic movies like the award-winning 1959 classic "Ben Hur."
Many will however remember Heston for his political conservatism and the support of the NRA.
His "Colbys" character was often seen with a gun and owned a vast collection of rifles (the actor was almost shot in an on-set incident with co-star Stephanie Beacham in late 1985).
Those of you who wish to support the petition may do so here.
