THE LAST FRONTIER (1/4)

During the 1986 "Dynasty" summer hiatus, Linda Evans left her shoulder padded gowns, sequins and "Oh, Blake-s" behind and headed Down Under to sweat it out in "The Last Frontier."

The four-hour mini-series which aired in October 1986 was a great success for CBS (the network where Joan Collins' lackluster "Monte Carlo" mini-series flopped just a month later).

SYNOPSIS: Greeted upon her arrival in Australia with shocking news, an American woman (Linda Evans) must face life in the drought-ridden outback and while battling land-grabbing neighbors and dealing with family tensions. Jack Thompson and Jason Robards also star.

  1. Thanks for posting this movie. It's been years since I saw this on TV. I was thinking about it the other day, and voila ... I find it here!
