"The Colbys" star Stephanie Beacham recently appeared on the British talk show "Loose Women" (airdate: September 14, 2010) to talk about her charity work and upcoming UK tour where she will play opera diva Maria Callas.
Beacham, who has found quite a bit of work in Britain since her short-lived but high-profile appearance on the TV contest "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2007 ("Coronation Street," "Celebrity Big Brother," "Casualty," etc.) will be starring in a new U.K. touring production of Terrence McNally's 1995 Broadway play Master Class.
The tour begins at Plymouth's Theatre Royal Nov. 2 (runs through Nov. 6.) and continues with dates in Cambridge, Croydon, Chichester and Bath before Christmas, and then resumes in 2011 with additional dates.
I'm not surprised! I've ever thought she was Maria Callas look-alike...
